March 15th of 2018 marks the 7th year of the Syria War. How can we as an agency draw awareness and help support the causes out there trying to help Syrians.
Save the Children launched the #7WordsForSyria campaign to draw awareness through social media channels. We utilized channel specific as well as omni-channel campaign tactics to create a moment. We utilized digital and social infulencers including: Christano Ronaldo, Rachel Zoe, Topher Brophy, Martha De Laurentiis, Gil Dias, John Green, Michiel Huiseman and David Muir. The campaign yielded incredible results, many times over our average with nearly 6.5 million video views, 36,000 hashtag uses and over 25,000 new followers.

Friends, a key motivation behind our account is to give a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves. Today, we are speaking for the children of Syria, who have been suffering tragically during their country’s 7 year civil war. Despite promises of a ceasefire, children are still being bombed in their homes, schools and hospitals. Please join us by posting 7 words of hope to Syrian Children, and using the hashtag #7WordsForSyria. Appreciatively, TB. Stay strong. Have hope. Never give up. #7 wordsforsyria @savethechildren
